Tamsin graduated from the university of Bedfordshire in 2018. Alongside her final year of studying Health, Nutrition, and Exercise, Tamsin also completed her level 3 sports massage therapist qualification to round off her skills in this area. Since then Tamsin has worked in the private sector providing health and well-being services, including personal training, nutrition consultations, health checks and more. Needless to say Tamsin has a multitude of skills and is currently focusing on developing her sports massage career. Tamsin has broadened her anatomy knowledge over the years of her career and has a passion for mobility, strength and Flexibility.

Sports massage is a type of massage therapy which aims to reduce pain, increase flexibility, aid healing and can prepare athletes for sport. Sports massage is not just for the sporting people, but for anyone! It can help relieve and relax tightened or injured muscles for all different types of people. Techniques such as MET (muscular energy techniques), STR (soft tissue release), myofascial release, frictions and trigger point therapy along with various strokes are used to manipulate the tissues, thus aiding quicker recovery and reduced pain. This treatment is a deep tissue treatment, so expect the massage to be painful, with after effects of sore muscles, tenderness and bruising.
